I love it- it's one of my favorite moments from every single wedding I've ever planned where they have seen each other before their ceremony-it's so private and romantic and WONDERFUL! And I love that I got to put my 2 cents in on the wonderful Melanie Mauer's blog!! fave groomsmen gift

So, have you thought about what you will be buy for your thank you gift for the Groomsmen? This is always a tough pick for many- well-I'm going to share my favorite gift option with you. Sure, I think cufflinks, and matching bow ties and socks are cute for the wedding day apparel but not as "useful" for the groomsmen in the days to come after the wedding. But I think a much appreciated fun gift is an Outdoor Camping/Tailgating Chair (Chair in a bag)- But what makes it much appreciated is when you personalize it- not with their name- although you could- but with their favorite team- College, Pro, or otherwise. Baseball, Basketball or Football...or anything-even just camoflauge is a good choice for your friends that are hunters/fishermen but find something they would love and find useful. They aren't overly expensive- so maybe buy 2- one for them and their significant other or buddy. Many times in the future they will get that chair out for a camping trip or a tailgating party or nephew's soccer game and they will smile and think of you and your great wedding day. There are many places to get them- like the pictures featured below are from One Stop Fan Shop  and some MLB ones are at SportFanatic. But the sky is the limit with your options. But that's just my two cents! Hope you have a great weekend!!

oooh, oooh, oooh!! Stop the press!! Run- don't walk to Old Navy Saturday morning, May 21st!! They are having their annual $1/pair FLIP FLOP SALE!! Old Navy has some of everyone's favorite flip flops- great fit, great colors and they are regularly $3.50/pair. So, no matter if you want them for yourself, your bridesmaids, summer shower favors, or offer them in a too cute basket for your wedding guests to have comfy shoes for their dancing feet. This is a great time to go to Old Navy. However, you will need to get an entourage to go with you. In years past they have had a 5 pair limit per person. So, take your bridesmaids, your mom, your fiance, your neighbor, take anyone you can get to go with you to get their maximum of 5 each and soon enough you'll have some great "favors" that guests will actually want! Trust me from the many weddings we have offered these in the past- they go like HOT CAKES! So, as I said before--RUN don't walk to Old Navy on Saturday!! Also, plan to go EARLY as they sell out of certain colors and sizes early. Happy Shopping!!

Stuck on a favor for your guests with a personal touch?  Here is a unique idea found on etsy.  Called "Tookies," it is a cookie mixture in a cute jar.  Perfect item to add your names and wedding date to, and not only can your guests enjoy your favorite thing to bake, but they can reuse the jar the mix comes in! Also, they are reasonably priced! If not for everyone at your wedding, maybe use it as favors for your bridesmaids or great for a sweet birthday party or baby shower favor! I love personalizing a wedding with the simplest details. And I do love a signature cocktail- favorite drink, cute name, cute color- add a cute garnish and a little sign-fabulous! This one was nicely done- one for the bride, one for the groom on a pretty butler passed silver tray.
