Now let's face it, sometimes we girls can get somewhat, nitpicky. Especially when it comes to what we wear; more specifically, what we wear when professional photographers are present. As a bride, the final decision is yours, but it is important to take into account your bridesmaids' feelings about the dresses that you would like them to wear on your wedding day.

More recently, brides have given their bridesmaids a bit more freedom when it comes to selecting their dress, and for more laid back weddings, giving them (almost) complete freedom over their dress and shoes!

A couple of options when it comes to selecting bridesmaids dresses include:

• Selecting a single dress for all bridesmaids to wear after voting on all options
• Selecting a designer and specific color for your bridesmaids to choose from and letting them select the style of dress they like
• Selecting a color PALETTE and letting them find their own dress (after your approval, of course)

The third option looks great for outdoorsy, casual weddings!

Whatever option you choose, make sure that their look compliments your overall aesthetic for your wedding, and remember, the final decision is yours and if they love you, they will wear whatever you choose!

    Now, this may or may not seem like a daunting task, but in my opinion, choosing a hairstyle for your wedding day is a relatively large decision! This article from The Knot is a great starting point for choosing that perfect look, as well as this one from Martha Stewart Weddings!

    Typically when deciding on a hairstyle, the first decision to be made is: up do, down, or half up? While there are plenty of gorgeous styles in each of these categories, it is also imperative that you take into account the look of your dress, the style of your venue, and the texture/length/strength of your hair. You will want to make sure that your hairstyle compliments your dress, without competing with it.

        

 

    Say you want those lucious, flowing curls on your wedding day, but your hair isn't quite as long as you would have hoped for? Talk to your stylist about the possible use of extensions! These accessories have come a long way, and when used correctly, it's impossible to tell that they aren't your real hair!

    Another new trend is the bridal headpiece! These pieces have been used by brides hosting all kinds of weddings and can be played down for a Southern Soiree, or blinged out for a Modern Marvel!
