I've seen this before but it's so worth repeating! Have your guests "leaf" their finger/thumb prints on the tree and sign next to it so they help create a beautiful piece of art for your new home after your wedding.

I love Christmas ornaments! (Brad & I have a fun tradition of getting a new ornament for every place we travel to- which is so fun strolling down memory lane every December when we put up our tree...well, OK, trees...)
So, when I saw this post on the oh so wonderful Green Wedding Shoes Blog (which I also love!) I thought- how cute of an idea would that be for a December Wedding or any wedding looking for a fun and unique guest book idea that also shares my love of Christmas ornaments! They took the craft christmas ornaments and you took the top off wrote your name on a ribbon and inserted it into the clear ornament so they could see your name and you replaced the top, and hung it on the tree. Cute.
But you could do it like they did where you sign a ribbon and insert it OR you could customize it to your desires and have guests leave you notes with paint pens on other ball ornaments or even have them be creative during cocktail hour or as the night goes on and decorate their own ornaments for you.
